  • Group size:
    5 swimmers maximum per instructor.

Teaching Pool Camp:

The Teaching Pool Camp offers our unique focus on technique and follows our swim lesson curriculum.

We zero in on efficient technical movement and building muscle memory with correct form – allowing swimmers to be the safest and fastest they can be. We do not aim to build endurance or cover lots of yards in the Teaching Pool Camp.

Our Teaching Pool Campers will swim in our smaller Teaching Pool measuring 23½ x 44 feet with a depth of 4 feet and water temperature of 86-88 degrees.

Prerequisites:

  • Swimmers age 4+ in all skill levels

Competition Pool Camp:

The curriculum for this program is designed by our USA Swimming Coaches and focuses on our unique approach to swim instruction with additional endurance work and turns with swim team-like workout sets.

Using the CRA emphasis on technique,  the sessions will incorporate our lesson curriculum and expand to also include daily stroke development.

Swimmers will  be grouped by skill and challenged accordingly.

This program utilizes our 25 yard Competition Pool which is kept at 80 degrees.

Prerequisites:

  • Swimmers age 6-8 with swim team experience, CRA Level 3 or higher and/or Tune Up participants.
  • Swimmers age 9-11 enrolled in CRA Level 3 or higher and/or Tune Up participants or swimmers new to CRA that are proficient in all four competitive strokes.

IMPORTANT CAMPER INFORMATION:

All families must submit an official copy of your camper(s) immunization record and physical performed within the last 18 months, signed by your physician, allowing your child to participate in camp. URGENT! These documents are required prior to your camper attending camp and the Board of Health must review.

  • All lessons/levels will be taught by an instructor from the pool deck. There will be NO instruction from the water. This step is a necessary health precaution for the safety of both staff and campers. However, water safety is a top priority so if any camper is struggling, our instructors and lifeguards would respond immediately as they would in any other water distress situation.

  • For our youngest campers in Level 1, there will be platforms set up in the teaching pool and lessons will take place on the outside lanes. Each swimmer will have their own barbell/noodle boat for the day which will be sanitized at the end of each camp day.

  • When not swimming, campers will follow current Board of Health guidelines while gathering with their group outside under tents for snack, lunch, crafts and games.

  • In the case of inclement weather, campers will be masked and maintain social distance while gathering with their group in the spectator seating inside.

  • Click here for more information on Swimming Safely with CRA.

  • Please pick up your camper at Door #4 on the street-side of the building facing Route 9. Please see images for details.

  • Please remain in or near your car at pick up to maintain social distance.

We have always prided ourselves on delivering the highest quality lessons and we will continue to do so while complying with the new safety protocols. We can’t wait to get swimming with your campers!
