This twice a week course is specifically designed for triathletes. You will work on endurance, along with breathing and recovery techniques that can be incorporated into open water. You will train in all aspects of triathlon swimming, right down to preparing for “beach runs” at the end of swims, with an emphasis on drills and techniques needed for open water racing.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Ginger has been racing in triathlons since 2009. She is a 5x Ironman finisher, with a PR of 10:13, and recently completed the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. This season she also did a number of shorter races, including a win at the Bare Hill Triathlon, and a 4th place finish (1st non-professional female) at the Boston Tri. Other highlights include the Boston Marathon, the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon, and a 2nd place finish in the Antarctica Marathon in 2013.
