Charles River Aquatics (CRA)
CRA opened its doors in Boston in 2005 with 6 staff members and 39 students. Once open, programming at CRA rapidly expanded to include private lessons, summer swim camps, a competitive youth swim team, a masters swim team, clinics, and lessons for adults. Today, CRA is the premier instructional swim program in Metro Boston, serving over 1,200 swimmers.
CRA is committed to offering a high-end, fluid, and integrated technique-based instructional swim program, and opportunities for team experience, along with recreational and fitness programming accessible to all. CRA is unique in its range of program offerings and well-known in the local world of aquatics.
CRA in Wellesley, MA
In early September 2019, CRA opened at the Boston Sports Institute (BSI) in Wellesley, creating the opportunity to more than double in size, greatly extend its reach, and bring its proven instructional programming to Metrowest. CRA offers instructional swim, camps and clinics, Masters (adult) and Dragons (youth) Swim Teams, lap and recreational swim, and aquatic fitness classes. Specialty programs, many swim meets, and other special events further enhance offerings.
