Dragon Spark

5-8 yrs old

Team prep serves as a bridge between our swim lessons program and our competitive CRA swim teams. Team prep groups are divided by the athletes age. Team Prep is designed for athletes who have successfully completed level 3 of our swim lessons or above, this program introduces the exciting world of competitive swimming with the goal of eventually joining a recreational or USA Swimming program. The primary focus of the program is equipping swimmers with the technical and fitness skills that are foundational to team success. Swimmers will work with instructional staff to sharpen their technique across all 4 competitive strokes, work on starts and turns, and learn how to navigate a structured team-like workout. Swimmers with either continue onto Dragon Embers or, upon completion, will look to be assessed or invited to transition into:

CRA Sea Dragons Recreation Team

CRA Dragons USA Swim Team

PREREQUISITES

For swimmers ages 5-8
CRA Level 3+
Invitation by CRA staff required
(1) 60 minute class plus the athlete must also be enrolled in one of our youth group lessons

Cost:

$125/month (+ the cost of a youth group lesson)

9-12 yrs old

SCHOOL YEAR SEASON REGISTRATION:

Dragon Team Prep runs on the Lesson calendar from TUES, Sep 8 and through FRI, June 25 (blackout dates)

You may join the Dragon Team Prep program at any time during the School Year Season through either an invitation or a tryout. Upon enrollment, you will be charged for the following month and can begin swimming on or after the first of that month (please disregard the start date generated by the registration system).

Enrollment continues for the full season, with automatic monthly billing, unless you provide 30 days' written notice to discontinue via email to registrar@charlesriveraquatics.com.

CRA does not offer make-up lessons or credits for missed classes.

Please note: Monthly tuition reflects an average cost based on the total number of lessons offered throughout the School Year Season.
