Pool Playtime

Non-instructional program for children ages 4 months to 3 years with an adult.

EXPLORE OPTIONS AND REGISTER for POOL PLAYTIME
Prerequisite: Must be at least 4 months of age and wear a swimmy diaper AND a rubber/plastic swim diaper cover on top.
Child and adult caregiver pairs enjoy free playtime in the warm (88 degrees) Teaching Pool.  Participants have access to equipment such as noodles, barbells and kick boards.  This class is not instructed, but knowledgeable lifeguards are present and happy to offer ideas and tips for fun in the water.

Baby Dragon Splash

Instructor led program for children ages 6 to 18 months with an adult.

Prerequisite: Must be at least 6 months of age and wear a swimmy diaper AND a rubber/plastic swim diaper cover on top.
Bond, splash, and play in the water! This class introduces infants ages 6-18 months to the pool through gentle floats, assisted rolls, front and back tows, and safe parent-supported entries and exits. Designed for fun and comfort, this class builds water confidence while strengthening the parent-child bond through positive early swim experiences.

Little Dragons

Instructional program for children ages 18 - 36 months with an adult.

EXPLORE OPTIONS AND REGISTER FOR LITTLE DRAGONS

Prerequisite: Must be at least 18 months of age and wear a swimmy diaper AND a rubber/plastic swim diaper cover on top.

A fun, active water class for toddlers and parents! Children ages 18-36 months practice assisted floats, rolls, tows, safe entries and exits, plus early kicking, reaching, and movement along the pool edge. This class builds independence, coordination, and water confidence while strengthening safety skills and comfort in the water through positive parent-supported experiences.

Place face in the water and blow bubbles
Safety enter/exit pool using the wall and the ladder (supported)
Jump into the water from a seated and standing position (supported)
Kick on front (supported or on a noddle with support)
Kick on back (supported)
Crawling along the wall (supported and independently)
Supported front float
Supported back float
Scooping and super-man arm positioning
Submerging face and entire body
